About OPERATOR

OPERATOR is a live visual jockey service built around vintage CRT hardware. Instead of running pre-rendered loops off a laptop, every set is mixed in real time through a chain of video synthesizers, signal processors, and a rack of working tube monitors — so what you see is being played, not played back.

The project started as a way to keep old broadcast and consumer CRTs in working rotation instead of in a landfill, and turned into a full live show: warehouse parties, club nights, gallery openings, and private events.

What a set looks like

Live-mixed visuals synced to the room's sound, projected and/or displayed across multiple CRTs simultaneously, with feedback, color processing, and glitch treatments applied on the fly. Every show is different — nothing is pre-programmed to a track list.
